The Lord of the Rings: Gollum postponed for next year

Lord of the Rings: Gollum

After the Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, everything was kind of eagerly awaited for a new video game that would bring something new from Tolkien's world.

The wait has been going on for quite some time, and it will continue through 2021, like The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been postponed. Studio Daedalic Entertainment has decided that it needs a lot of time to work on the game to meet the expectations of the fans, which is why it was decided that instead of 2021, the game will be released next year.

That the development of the game was not in a suitable condition and that the developers need additional work is shown by the news that Daedalic has teamed up with the publisher NACON to help with the publishing and distribution of Gollum.

As the name suggests, the story of the Ring of Power will be transferred from the perspective of Gollum, and by its features, the gameplay of the mechanics will include sneaking, rock climbing, and fishing in the Forbidden Lake, among other things.

The game is planned for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Switch.
