Xbox Live is Dead - Long Live the Xbox Network!

Rebranding, consolidation, aggregation… mah, at the end of the day we consider that business sense completely irrelevant. All that matters is that the adult Xbox Live will soon become the Xbox Network. We have to admit, it makes sense. In the spirit of positioning the Xbox brand as a service on all platforms that have a screen, when you think about it this is not a shock at all.

The Xbox Network will thus include Xbox Live, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox xCloud (as part of the Game Pass Ultimate option), and Xbox Store (Microsoft Store). Rebranding is expected as part of the next upgrade of all Xbox consoles and applications. We will categorize this as another day in global corporate marketing.
