Quake Remaster came out with a new expansion
We knew a week ago that a revitalized version of the cult shooter Quake was coming to us, but we didn't hope that it would be launched immediately after the announcement. Quake is available in a remastered edition from yesterday on PC, PS4, PS5, XBO, XSX / S, and Switch platforms, as well as on the Xbox Game Pass.
The remaster of this classic title brings us improved models, dynamic lighting (raytracing), depth of field effect, and support for 4K resolution. Playing the game in co-op (locally in split-screen or online) for up to four players is supported. Monster shooting can also be organized independently of the platforms as the remaster supports cross-play.
In terms of content, the Quake remaster comes with two existing expansions (The Scourge of Armagon and Dissolution of Eternity) and adds a third, brand new expansion, Dimension of the Machine, designed by the Machine Games team, credited with the newer Wolfenstein games.
The price of the Quake remaster is extremely affordable - $ 10. Moreover, if you already have the original Quake on your PC, you get a remastered edition for free.
