The movie hit Dune is coming to cinemas these days, so you might get a desire for a game that takes place on a foreign desert planet. For this year, that game is called Sable, and for 2022, that game will be called The Invincible.
The Invincible is an SF adventure based on the cult novel of the same name by Stanislav Lem from 1964. It takes place on the planet Regis III where scientist Dr. Yasna searches for the missing crew of her ship. In the first trailer released yesterday for the first time, we hear Yasna quickly find herself in trouble after being found by a mysterious guy with a nanobot.
The video itself does not reveal much, but it gives an insight into the retro-futuristic environment of the game itself, that is, into a vision of the future in which digital technology has not yet been invented.
The Invincible is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X / S. The planned release date is set for 2022.
