Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is one of Xbox’s next-gen hopes that has been in development for more than two years. And there will be some more time since we don’t even have a year out. But we have six minutes of gameplay shown last night at the Game Awards.
In the gameplay shown, the protagonist Senu goes to a cave with a group of warriors in search of a giant. A battle ensues that does not end well for the warriors, and we eventually learn that the creature wants help from Senu.
Just like in the first game, Senua hears the voices of his subconscious. We did not see a direct fight, just one javelin throw which suggests that we could see some long-range weapons below.
