LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was launched on all platforms yesterday, including PC and Steam. It was there that the game managed to break through among the ten titles with the largest number of simultaneously active players in the first 24 hours.
At one point, the new LEGO Star Wars was played by 82,517 users on Steam, an absolute record for a single LEGO game. Previously, the best result was held by LEGO Marvel Super Heroes from 2014 with only 5953 simultaneous players.
An even bigger surprise is that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga became the most active Star Wars game on Steam in the same 24 hours. Although Star Wars is an extremely popular franchise, it has had relatively weak numbers on Steam so far. Only Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order reached 46,550 players at a time, other games were nowhere near that, but it should be noted that before 2019, Star Wars Battlefront games were not launched on Steam.
Either way, a nice success for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, one could say the Force is strong with it.
