Playstation 3 Games on the Premium Service Will Not Support DLCs
A lot of information is circulating these days in gaming circles and portals related to new services in the PlayStation Plus family, their capabilities, and prices themselves. Since a new service model was launched in Asia yesterday, and now we have another less happy news confirmed by Sony itself. Namely, PS3 games will not support DLCs.
Sony states that no game that streams will support this, and we all know that with the PS Plus Premium subscription we get access to the catalog of games from PS1 to PS4 and PSP games. Although technically we can stream PS4 games, they can also be downloaded to the console and thus have all available DLCs, while for the PS3 we will be deprived of additional content, according to Sony.
