Nintendo Switch multiplayer games Part 1

Best multiplayer games for Nintendo Switch Gaming Console Part 1

Best multiplayer games for Nintendo Switch

Part of the appeal of the Nintendo Switch is its versatility. You can play it at home on your TV and the go in portable mode. This versatility also applies to multiplayer and association games that can be played with a single controller in desktop mode, wirelessly, online and locally. Even better, many of these Nintendo Switch games allow crossplay with other consoles and a computer.

While the Switch may not be as competitive as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, it still offers an amazing library for multiplayer games. The portable console is home to some of the best games we’ve seen in this generation, and new racing games are constantly being added. Here are our favorites, whether you are a fan of racing games, simulators or titles of the best caliber in monster hunting.

Fortnite Nitendo Switch

Fortnite: Battle Royale

When you buy a Nintendo Switch, one of the first things you should do is download Fortnite: Battle Royale. It is free to play and remains one of the most popular on the platform. Fortnite: Battle Royale, which focuses on building on the go, is certainly not for everyone, but if you get addicted to this game, hundreds and hundreds of hours of online entertainment await you. Fortnite also doesn’t require a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online to play, so it’s a truly free experience.

Diablo III Eternal Collection

Diablo III: Eternal Collection

Diablo III: Eternal Collection combines the basic game from 2012 and all the excellent DLCs after launching into one package. The dungeon action RPG focuses on loot, offering a rewarding round for those who take the time to replay the area and engage with seasonal content updates. While Diablo III is a fun solo, it becomes an even more addictive experience when you team up with three friends locally or online. It’s one of the best multiplayer RPGs on the Nintendo Switch.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is certainly the ultimate fighting game for the Nintendo Switch. An iconic game that includes fighters from the Nintendo franchise, but also outside of it. A game that you and your friends could easily immerse yourself in for hundreds of hours. With plenty of combat areas and characters to choose from, with even more along the way, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is always a dynamic experience, especially when you enjoy with friends and family. Ultimate supports up to eight multiplayer players, both online and offline (on a single console). The real question is not whether you need to buy it but whether you will agree with your competitors to include additional items.

The Jackbox Party Pack 3 Nitendo Switch

Jackbox Party Pack 3

Jackbox Party Pack 3 is a fun game featuring five unique board games for up to eight players to compete in. There’s the Trivia Murder Party, a quiz that requires you to compete against a killer, “Guesspionage,” a smart guessing game. Fakin ‘It, a game that revolves around deception and more. Like the Super Mario Party, the Jackbox Party Pack 3 is a great choice for evening games, especially for adults.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

 Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

New Super Mario Bros. The Deluxe includes New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U, two great games transferred from the Wii U. More than 100 levels can be played with up to four players in collaboration, and two new characters to play, Nabbit and Toadette, make the game easier for younger players. In addition to the main campaigns, there are several fun ways for more players that you can add.

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 switch

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 is the big successor to NBA Jam. The arcade basketball 2v2 game features all the current NBA teams, a bunch of current players and legends like Michael Jordan. Up to four players can play at once (two on each team) in fast-paced games that contain tons of fast, funny dunks and wacky reinforcements that create a superior game experience, just what NBA Jam fans have been missing for so long. For fans of more traditional basketball games, NBA 2K19 is a better choice because it sticks to the realism of 5v5 basketball. But for those who want a casual sports game, look no further than NBA 2K Playgrounds 2.

Kirby Fighters 2

Played with up to four people on one console and via a local or broadband network, Kirby Fighters 2 is one of the most exciting new multiplayer games on the Nintendo Switch console. Players will choose from a lengthy list of characters based on Kirby before stepping onto the battlefield to knock him out. The matches are played a bit like Super Smash Bros., which means they are fast and action-packed.

The new "Story Mode" is also present in Kirby Fighters 2, allowing you and your friends to fight against increasingly difficult enemies as you make your way to the top of the sinister tower. The ranking system will track all your victories and unlock new items and equipment as you progress through the game.

Super Mario Bros. 35

Super Mario Bros. 35

Super Mario Bros. 35 is the weirdest Battle Royale game you will play next year. It’s similar to the Tetris 99 game because you’ll be able to see other players ’screens around the edge of your screen, but instead of dropping blocks and clearing lines, you’ll tap on Goombas and hit your opponent’s armor. Each player has the same stage to complete, earning extra time defeating enemies. Players are slowly eliminated from the competition if they cannot complete the phase in the allotted time or if they are attacked by another player. Battle Royale action is incredibly tense, but will only be able to be played from March 31, 2021.

Minecraft Dungeons

 Minecraft Dungeons

The next step in the Minecraft franchise is here and it doesn’t disappoint. Minecraft Dungeons is a drastic departure from the original title but still has its charm and affordability. Players of all skill levels will enjoy this action full of the blocked world of Minecraft Dungeons as they slowly gather an arsenal of powerful weapons to bring down the evil "Arch-Illager". It may not be as difficult as other ARPGs, but it is one of the most fun dungeon games on the market. The game is best played with a few friends, so get an extra controller and start killing those monsters while you wait for the next DLC of the game.

Rogue Company 1

Rogue Company

Hi-Rez, creators of the popular games Smite and Paladins, are heading in a whole new direction with Rogue. As a third-person tactical shooter, it is one of the few games of this genre available on the Nintendo Switch console. While not perfect, it certainly brings some unique gameplay to the Nintendo console that isn’t offered by many other titles. Rogue Company takes some traits from Valorant and Counter-Strike, but it seems to be a little more casual than these "hardcore" titles. The variety of game modes, levels, and weapons should give players a lot to discover.

Warframe

Warframe

Destiny 2 may not be available on the Nintendo Switch console, but that's why Warframe does a pretty good job of filling that gap. It’s certainly not identical to Destiny 2, and it doesn’t bother to be, but the fast-paced, cracking, constant updates and seasonal events trigger a comparison to the popular title. Like Destiny, Warframe is an even better adventure with a few friends by its side.

Players will be able to unlock new characters (called "Warframes") with their unique abilities, upgrade their weapons, and even compete in one of the PvP actions. The main goal is to equip your space ninja with the most powerful equipment possible, which includes a lot of effort and a little luck. An interesting game mode will keep you glued to the screen and you will come back for more.

World of Tanks Blitz

World of Tanks Blitz

It contains more than 350 vehicles, more than 25 possible game maps, and a multitude of unlockable content. World of Tanks Blitz offers a full gaming experience for free play. Players will take part in seven against seven battles where coordination with teammates is the key to victory. Based on a very popular mobile version, World of Tanks Blitz seeks to suppress microtransactions and put a few features behind the weather door. If, on the other hand, you can turn a blind eye to some shortcomings, you’ll find an action title that’s hard to replace.
