Xiaomi Mi 11 uses BlinkAI algorithms for its video night mode

Xiaomi Mi 11 BlinkAI algorithms video night mode

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is the first phone to be made official with the Snapdragon 888 chipset. Among several other improvements, Qualcomm's latest premium chipset features faster performance for AI applications. The chip offers a total of 26 TOPS for data processing (versus 15 TOPS as offered by the Snapdragon 865).

This is also confirmed by BlinkAI, whose deep learning software runs Night Mode in the video camera of the Xiaomi Mi 11 phone, and some demons confirm this.

The BlinkAI algorithm uses a neural network to mimic the way the human eye works and only needs one frame to do so. This allows the algorithm to improve the detail and vibration of the image in a few milliseconds.

Another demo video shows how BlinkAI Night Mode works on the Xiaomi Mi 11 phone, which uses a 108MP sensor (1 / 1.33 ") for the main camera.
