Sonic finally arrive on the PC

SEGA's support for the PC platform has traditionally not been at a high level, especially when it comes to certain franchises. The publisher slowly began to improve in this field, enabling titles such as Persona 4 Golden for PC as well.

In a LinkedIn announcement by an official of the SEGA of America division, it was pointed out that the publisher is reportedly ready to port popular Sonic feeds to new-to-SEGA PC platforms, making Sonic games available to a wider range of users.

Many of the popular Sonic games never made it to the PC, for a variety of reasons. Titles such as Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors, Sonic Lost World, and others have remained on outdated hardware but now there is hope that some of them will arrive on PC.

It will be interesting to see which specific Sonic games will reach the PC platform and which service SEGA will choose to distribute its games to PCs.
