World of Tanks arrives on Steam, loyal players disappointed

World of Tanks arrives on Steam

World of Tanks is an extremely popular MMO game with a focus on PvP battles between tanks that have appeared throughout history. Since its release in 2010, the game has enjoyed tremendous success on several platforms, including the PC.

While PC gamers in the past had to install and run the game via a separate launcher, World of Tanks has now announced that it will soon become available on the Steam platform as well.

Although no specific date has been announced (other than the information that it will happen during 2021), World of Tanks has enthusiastically announced that it will be able to offer its content to users on Steam.

Unfortunately, World of Tanks was not originally designed as a multi-PC platform game, so those who download the title via Steam will not be able to transfer their existing accounts and saved data. This means that players on Steam will have to start from the beginning.

Since its release in 2010, World of Tanks has managed to form a base of over 160 million players as a free game. It will be interesting to see if the presence on Steam will further increase the number of players.
