Apart from the official announcement made earlier this year, as well as the first photos of the controller released recently, little is known about the new generation Playstation VR device.
Sony has not yet announced which games will be available on the Playstation VR 2, but thanks to another studio we have the official announcement of the first game for this platform. It will be the military shooter Pavlov Shack, a refreshed version of the game Pavlov published in 2017.
Studio Wanrupt has revealed that the game will appear this year for Steam, Oculus and Playstation VR devices with a cross-platform option enabled between the platform and the price of 24 dollars. The game will bring novelties compared to the original, which fans will be able to try out through a free beta that will take place in the future, but probably before PSVR 2 sees the light of day.
Pavlov Shack will not be available for the first version of the Playstation VR device, since the game technology was not created for the last generation.
Price has been decided as $24 for Shack in the Oculus Store and everywhere, we decided for price parity to have the less TOS conflicts across Steam, Oculus and Playstation (yes we just got accepted as a partner last week). Shack Beta will be free everywhere too where applicable.— davevillz (@davevillz) March 29, 2021
