World of Tanks: Modern Armor brings modern tanks to consoles

The U.S. branch of Wargaming has announced a new content season for the console version of World of Tanks. It will be called WOT: Modern Armor, and as the name suggests, it will bring warfare to modern tanks. Expect to sit in modern titans like the American M1A2 Abrams or the Soviet T-72BM.

In addition to the new tanks, Modern Armor brings additional maps for the era of World War II, but also the new era of the Cold War. The developers say this upgrade will be more than a game update and will lay the groundwork for the future of World of Tanks on consoles.

More details about the four new maps, cooperative mode, and other novelties will be revealed in the coming days, and the launch of Modern Armor is expected on April 27.
