The first Call of Duty: Vanguard test will take place next weekend
Players on PlayStation consoles will have the first opportunity to try out the next Call of Duty, just like in previous years. Testing of the alpha version will take place on the PlayStation 4 and 5 as early as next weekend, from Friday, Aug. 27 at 7 p.m., to Sunday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. The preload will already be available, and testing will be open to anyone interested.
In Vanguard's first test, a new multiplayer mode called Champion Hill will be able to be played. This mod is a kind of successor to Gunfight from Modern Warfare. It has a tournament format, duos or trios teams participate, and the mode emphasizes tactics and strategy.
Each team starts with the same weapon. The mode takes place on one large map divided into five sections. In alpha testing, Champion Hill will have four maps that can be tested. Maps are designed to be "reactive", or in translation - to have destructive barriers, gates, etc., through which you can catch the opponent to attack.
