A new fighting game MultiVersus

Warner Bros. Games and developer Play First Games have introduced MultiVersus - a new fighting game modeled on Super Smash Bros. As the name suggests, several different universes will clash in this game, that is, characters from several franchises owned by Warner Bros.

Among those franchises are DC Super Heroes & Super-Villains, Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, and… Game of Thrones. So, expect Batman, Superman Shaggy, Arya Stark, Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry, and many other "fighters".

However, this is only the starting lineup with which the game will be launched, and later we will have everything and everything, from Lord of the Rings to the Kremenko family. Interestingly, the voices of most of the characters will be borrowed by actors from the appropriate series and movies.

MultiVersus will be a free to play game with a focus on online multiplayer. It will be played in a 2-on-2 format, with no limits as the game will support full cross-play. It is planned for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One X / S, and Series X / S. We don't have a precise release date - it was only revealed that it will arrive sometime during 2022.
