Nvidia promises "exciting news for gamers"

Nvidia has announced that it will have exciting news for the gaming world on January 4th at 8am. Then there will be a virtual presentation on the occasion of CES 2022, and Nvidia will present everything from gaming technologies to autonomous cars.

As far as gaming is concerned, it is quite likely that the announcement of new graphics cards from the RTX 30xx series will follow. More precisely, there are rumors about two models: RTX 3090 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti 16 GB. This first one should become a new flagship model and the first Nvidia card with a bandwidth of one terabyte per second. As for the RTX 3070 Ti, it is rumored that this card will come with a significantly expanded memory capacity of 16 GB.

The official announcement on Twitter was ridiculed by many even before anything was announced. Users say that the news can never be exciting as long as the graphics cards are hard to find on sale and as long as their market prices are insanely high compared to the recommended ones. Some even say that it is funny how Nvidia even mentions gaming when those who use them for cryptocurrency mining will be most excited about the announcement of new cards.
