Details of the PS5 version of the Hogwarts Legacy have been revealed
PlayStation has marketing rights to promote the upcoming Hogwarts Legacy game, so it’s no surprise that the game will be specifically tailored for the PlayStation 5 platform. It was confirmed today that players on the PS5 console will be able to choose between two performance modes: Fidelity and Performance. Technical details have not been revealed, but we know that we can expect a higher resolution closer to 4K from Fidelity mode, while in Performance mode we can expect a higher framerate (although it was not said whether it will be 60 fps).
The game will support Activity Cards and Game Help features on the PS5 console, and special emphasis will be placed on the DualSense controller. The controller will thus glow in the color of the house we belong to at Hogwarts, and each spell will have a different vibe. The controller will simulate the magic wand itself with vibrations, ie it will vibrate on the side where the wand is currently located. Spells will also be associated with adaptive triggers, so simple magic will have easier keystrokes, while more complex spells will provide more resistance to the trigger.
The new presentation of the game once again confirmed the approximate release date - the end of 2022. We keep figs from being delayed.
