Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 offers ray tracing at a more affordable price

Nvidia has officially introduced the RTX 3060 graphics card, which is a more affordable alternative to the 3060 Ti and even surpasses this model in some areas.

The GeForce RTX 3060 doesn't offer the same amount of raw power as the 3060 Ti, with its 13 shader TFLOP versus 16.2 as the Ti model and 25 ray tracing TFLOP (versus around 39.7), but it comes with 12GB of GDDR6 memory. That's more than 10GB on the RTX 3080 or 8GB on the 3060 Ti.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card should still offer all the other benefits of the RTX 30 series, including improved ray tracing performance and DLSS. This is, however, the first GPU to support Resizable BAR technology that allows the CPU to directly access graphics card memory.

GeForce RTX 3060 graphics cards will be available in late February, with a starting price of $ 329.
