Minecraft became the first game with 1 trillion views on YouTube

Roblox may be the most valuable game in the world, League of Legends and Fortnite may be the most-watched games on Twitch, but as far as YouTube is concerned, King is only one. Minecraft has just become the first game in history to record more than a trillion views on YouTube.

That result was achieved in 12 years, and the exponential growth of Minecraft viewership occurred in 2019. A trillion views are divided into various types of content: classic gameplay, role-playing in Minecraft, parodies, speedruns, survival multiplayer, tutorials, etc.

Currently, the most-watched type of Minecraft content on YouTube is episodic role-playing videos, a kind of play with a story, only within Minecraft. For years, the most-watched creators of Minecraft content were men, but currently, the most popular creator is Aphmau, whose videos have an average of up to five million views.
