The Hyper Light Breaker Has Been Announced, Arriving in Early 2023.

Six years after the release of the successful indie game Hyper Light Drifter, its successor arrives. The Heart Machine development team has signed a publishing contract with Gearbox Publishing and will launch Hyper Light Breaker in early 2023.

In this rogue-like-type action game, we will visit a new country called Overgrowth where we will have to overthrow Abyss King and his aides. Unlike the first game which was 2D shaped, Hyper Light Breaker will switch to a 3D environment with a new perspective on the action.

The game will be able to be played alone or in a team of up to five players through online co-op play. We will explore the great world of different biomes by running along walls, using hovercraft and air sailboats.

Hyper Light Breaker has so far been announced for the PC platform, where it will be launched in the early access phase in early 2023.
