Announced Warcraft Arclight Rumble - For Mobile Phones
A new Warcraft mobile game called Warcraft Arclight Rumble has been
introduced. Blizzard classifies it as an action strategy or tower offense
game, and we will most easily describe it as a clone of Clash Royale-type
games. The aesthetics of Warcraft itself have been adapted so that the whole
thing looks like an animated film - with cute miniatures of characters from
the world of Warcraft.
Warcraft Arclight Rumble will be based on
the skirmish type of matches/missions during which we will summon Mini units
to the field. There will be 65 different types of Mini available, each with
its advantages and disadvantages. The Minis themselves on the ground will
gather resources (gold) so we can summon even more units and then clash with
opponents. After each battle, the Minis gain an experience that increases
their level.
For our army, we will be able to choose leaders who will bring various
reinforcements to the units. For now, it has been confirmed that the leaders
of the Alliance will be Tyrion Fordring, Maiev Shadowsong, and Jaina
Proudmoore. Other groups will include Horde, Beast, Blackrock, and Undead.
Warcraft
Arclight Rumble will have a single-player campaign, but most of the game will
focus on cooperative PvP (dungeons, raids, etc.) and PvP showdowns with other
players. It will be a free-to-play game, ie free to play. The launch is
planned for 2022, but no specific date has been set yet.
