OnePlus phones have so far not overly impressed users with their camera capabilities. However, it seems that the Chinese company is now focusing on improving the optical capabilities with its next premium phone line. it was previously suggested that OnePlus would partner with Leica for the OnePlus 9 series, but later information emerged that this would not happen after all. Now live photos of the OnePlus 9 Pro phone show Hasselblad optics.
Now, Dave2D has posted a video with photos of the OnePlus 9 Pro prototype on YouTube. According to him, the photos were forwarded to him by an anonymous user on Discord. The photos reveal Hasselblad branding on the camera module, which houses four cameras. Two are placed vertically, while the other two are placed horizontally, below the Hasselblad mark.
The OnePlus 9 Pro is expected to have a QHD + display with 3120 x 1440p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will run a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. Two 48MP sensors and a 16MP selfie camera are expected in the camera segment. The OnePlus 9 series could be released in March.
