Lenovo has introduced a new monitor, which will complement the latest line of the company's ThinkPad devices. Lenovo ThinkVision P40w offers a 39.7-inch panel with a 21: 9 aspect ratio, has a resolution of 5120 x 2160p WUHD, but also some other interesting features.

The ThinkVision P40w also serves as a dock for a laptop, thanks to the Thunderbolt 4 port with a single cable, which can charge the laptop at speeds up to 100W. It can also provide up to 12 ports, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports and one USB Type-C. Lenovo has included eKVM in the device, which enables control of two devices via this combination of monitor and dock. An optional Thunderbolt 4 port allows you to connect another 5K monitor.

The panel offers 98% of the P3 color spectrum and includes hardware levels of blue light reduction, to maintain proper white balance while still reducing blue light emission.

Lenovo is also the first manufacturer to offer a professional monitor with built-in Intel Active Management Technology, created to integrate with vPro on ThinkPad devices and provide additional management capabilities.

The Lenovo ThinkVision P40w monitor will be available from June, at a starting price of $ 1,699.
