On its official @IntelGraphics Twitter account, Intel has launched a teaser for the long-awaited Xe HPG graphics architecture. This technology is behind the company's graphics cards with a focus on the gaming category.

 



If recent rumors are true, Intel’s new Xe HPG (High-Performance Gaming) graphics chip will reportedly deliver a level of performance that is on par with the AMD RX 6700 XT and Nvidia RTX 3070 models.

The aforementioned teaser is a sign that Intel is planning to introduce its first Xe HPG gaming GPU soon, and there is no doubt that today’s graphics card market needs a new chip supplier.

With Intel's entry into the graphics card gaming market, AMD and Nvidia will gain the necessary competition, which will further shake up the GPU market, as well as the range of gaming notebook/laptop devices.
