The developers of The Last of Us, God of War and Call of Duty have founded a new studio - That’s No Moon

A lot of new game development studios have been set up recently, and the latest example of this is a team called That’s No Moon. It is made up of industry veterans who have worked on an impressive list of games. Watch this list now: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, God of War, The Last of Us Part II, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Fortnite, and Destiny - for a long time, such an experienced team has not gathered in one team.

Given their experience so far, they received a hefty $ 100 million investment for their first project. That budget was donated to them by Smilegate (creators of the Crossfire series), and the money should be used to expand the studio to a total of 100 employees by 2022.

The first game that That’s No Moon studio will be working on will be a third-person action-adventure, focused on the single-player component. They say their game will push the boundaries of gameplay and storytelling.
