Assetto Corsa Competizione replaced Gran Turismo in the official FIA esport competition

The collaboration between Sony / Polyphony Digital and the International Automobile Federation (FIA) has broken down. This could be noticed because there was no mention of the FIA in Gran Turismo 7, and it has now been confirmed that their FIA Motorsport Games will not be run in Gran Turismo but Assetto Corsa Competizione.

The second event in the organization of the FIA will be held on 26-30. 10. this year in Rome, and it will be attended by 80 nations whose drivers will compete in 17 disciplines, one of which is eSport, or virtual racing. As part of the virtual competition in the Assetto Corsa, the GT3 car category will be driven.

The previous game selected for the FIA Motorsport Games was Gran Turismo Sport.
