The Last of Us Part II

The Last of Us Part II has officially become the most award-winning game of all time, surpassing the previous record-holder The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

According to Gameawards.net, which collects and compares all Game of the Year awards from various sites and publications, The Last of Us Part II has won 261 Game of the Year awards so far, surpassing the 260 awards collected by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

According to available data, these awards come from 169 media outlets and 92 Readers ’Choice selections. The awards season is not over yet and in the coming period, the popular game may get some more GOTY (Game Of The Year) titles.

The achievements, noted by The Last of Us Part II and Naughty Dog studio, are a significant thing in the video game industry, especially considering the numerous controversies and grievances of gamers when it comes to the choice of narration in this title.
