The SD card slot could return to the redesigned MacBook Pro

MacBook Pro SD card slot

Apple has kept more or less the same design for its MacBook laptop for the last few years. Still, rumors of a redesign have been circulating for some time and now Bloomberg is pointing to a potential “new” feature.

The report indicates that Apple will finally return the SD card slot to the MacBook Pro, as part of this redesign.

The last time the SD card slot was present in a MacBook Pro laptop was in 2016. Since then, photographers and video creators have had to rely on USB devices and hubs.

The Bloomberg report also confirms earlier allegations by analyst Ming-Chi Ku, who suggested that Apple could drop the Touch Bar from the new MacBook Pro model.
