Global technology leader Xiaomi today unveiled the Mi 11, the latest flagship of the Mi series of smartphones, at its global premiere. The Mi 11 is truly a premium device, confirming its debut with revolutionary upgrades over its predecessor1 - the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, 108MP triple rear camera, movie sound, and 50W wireless charging.
Unleash your creative potential with a 108MP triple camera and a range of advanced AI movie modes
Mi 11 is like a top film studio that fits in your pocket, and thanks to the triple rear camera, it will turn any photo and video enthusiast beginner into a film director. The Mi 11 boasts the world's highest-resolution sensor - the wide-angle camera is equipped with a 108 MP primary sensor that captures crystal clear images with dazzling detail comparable only to those of a professional DSLR or mirrorless camera. The 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and telemacro 5 MP lens complete the rear camera setting by offering impressive landscape and detailed shots with a glossy bokeh. On the front, the 20 MP camera reduces the frames on the home screen ensuring that users still look their best when taking a selfie photo or during a video chat with friends.
Drawing on existing Xiaomi technology, the Mi 11 introduces outstanding new features for photography and video. Enhanced night mode features offer photo night mode on not one, not two, but three cameras: primary, ultra-wide, and front. With state-of-the-art night mode technology, the Mi 11 completely redefines industry standards by reducing noise with its RAW sound reduction capabilities for brighter night recording. Six features of AI film will make artistic shooting as light as a pen in just one click, from Parallel World mode that duplicates and flips your scene to get a world view in the mirror to Freeze Frame Video mode freezes and clones video frames to create the illusion that parts of your video are frozen in time. True film lovers will love the Magic Zoom mode because of the creation of the illusion of a camera that zooms in and out of the scene at the same time, a trick that was originally popularized in thriller films.
The Mi 11 has further shaken industry standards and now offers studio-level shooting control with its HDR10 + shooting and new Pro Time-lapse mode, capable of adjusting shutter speed, ISO, aperture, and EV to solve even the most demanding lighting situations. Studio-level control extends to editing with advanced AI features, including AI Erase 2.0, which allows users to remove unwanted objects or lines from images with a single click.
You’ll see and hear every detail thanks to the 120Hz 6.81 ’’ AMOLED DotDisplay screen and SOUND BY Harman Kardon sound system
The Mi 11 is equipped with one of the best screens on the market, which received an A + rating, and DisplayMate, the world's leading professional institution that evaluates the quality of the screen, declared it the best screen. With a premium 120Hz 6.81 "AMOLED DotDisplay display, the Mi 11 is equally impressive for both viewing and use. Xiaomi's most advanced display shines with its WQHD + ultra-high resolution and 10-bit color technologies, providing breathtaking clarity and smooth color transitions. Simplicity follows convenience with Super Resolution technology that upgrades low-resolution videos to WQHD + quality without increased data consumption.
Thanks to a 480 Hz touch sampling speed and on-screen fingerprint sensor, the Mi 11 allows users to unlock the device smoothly and quickly without intrusive notches or frames blocking the screen. With an elegant lightweight body and timeless look, the Mi 11 offers a pleasurable pulling experience and a feeling in the hand with its quadruple curved smooth edges and rear window finish.
With alluring Harman Kardon professionally tuned dual speakers, the Mi 11 delivers superb cinematic sound, while Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects it from costly damage caused by falls. The Mi 11 is equipped with an advanced double matte finish against a gloss that captures light rather than fingerprints and comes in two colors - Midnight Gray and Horizon Blue.

The most pleasant MIUI so far - Introduction of MIUI 12.5
MIUI 12.5 is a temporary update based on MIUI 12 with a strong focus on system optimization4. After a complete overhaul of the UI system, its CPU usage was reduced by up to 22% while power consumption was reduced by up to 15%, ensuring flawless performance and graphics.
This is most visible in the movements of the screen, which will now be more pleasant than ever. In previous systems, gestures and other tasks were performed on a single thread, resulting in a series of tasks competing for CPU use. Of course, under this scenario, task overload can cause delays. However, in MIUI 12.5, gestures were given a dedicated thread, taking care that other tasks did not interfere with them and guaranteeing an immediate response.
Another highlight of MIUI 12.5 is the ability to uninstall applications within the system. The vast majority of applications in a new system can be uninstalled, while a small number of applications built into the system kernel can be hidden.
The first series of devices will start updating MIUI 12.5 in the second quarter of 2021 and will include the following models: Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 11. The second wave will include 11 more Xiaomi devices. The schedule for receiving updates for other devices will be gradually published on MIUI.com.
The Mi 11 comes in 2 memory variants: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB with increased LPDDR5 3200MHz RAM + UFS 3.1 storage.
