The Redmi K40 will be officially unveiled on February 25th

Information about the Redmi K40 phone has been appearing for some time, and now Xiaomi’s vice president, Lu Weibing, has finally confirmed that the K40 will be unveiled on February 25th.

Weibing announced on the Weibo social network that the Redmi K40 will feature a completely new design, new market positioning, and a new user experience.

No details have been released about the Redmi K40 specifications or design, but it has been previously confirmed that the Redmi K40 series will use the Snapdragon 888 chip, the most expensive flat screen and battery with a capacity above 4000mAh.

The Redmi K40 line will reportedly consist of three models: the standard K40, K40S, and K40 Pro. All three phones will support 5G networks, and the Pro variant will reportedly also have a 108MP main camera.
