Deathloop showed us what a first-person fantasy Hitman looks like

The game that received the most space and attention at last night’s State of Play presentation was Deathloop, a new title by creators Dishonored and Prey, which is being developed for PC and PlayStation 5. The developers finally showed gameplay footage they released to reporters two months ago.

Nine-minute footage shows us hunting for Alexis Dorsey, one of eight targets on Blackreef Island. We see the process of gathering information through research and eavesdropping, then a little shooting, using different powers, and finally - eliminating the target before the main character himself becomes a victim of Juliana.

Deathloop has scheduled a release for September 14, 2021, on PS5 and PC.
