The servers for Metal Gear Solid 5 on PS3 and X360 consoles are shutting down
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles will have phantom pain in the future because they will miss all the online functionality. Konami has announced that the PS3 and X360 versions of the game will shut down servers after May 31, 2022.
After that date, the game will only be available offline, and Metal Gear Online multiplayer and FOB missions will be unavailable. Previously, from November 30 this year, it will no longer be possible to buy DLC content for Metal Gear Online, and the game Metal Gear Solid 5 will go on sale on the PS3 and X360 console from March 1, 2022, and it will no longer be possible to buy it.
Konami said that there would be no refund in any case. Versions for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One remain with all online functionality until further notice.
