PC requests for eFootball 2022 have been announced

As of this year, Konami's football is no longer PES but eFootball, and it no longer uses Fox Engine but Unreal Engine 4. This change will affect the technical side of the game, and thus the hardware requirements for running it in the PC version.

In the case of eFootball 2022, this does not necessarily mean that the game will be more graphically advanced or demanding. Konami has released a list of hardware requirements and the minimum requirements for the new game are even slightly lower than with PES 2021.

Still, on the other hand, under the recommended is placed slightly more powerful hardware than before (although the requirements are still very tame). Whereas the GTX 760 graphics card was previously recommended, the GTX 1060 is now recommended for gaming in 1080p. The game also requires 50 gigabytes of free disk space (ten more than the previous PES), although this order probably works as the game’s initial release comes without classic mods and will feature only nine playable teams. Support for Windows 8.1 has also been dropped.

Here are the PC requirements for eFootball 2022:

Minimum requirements:

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2300 or AMD FX-4350
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 660 Ti or Radeon HD 7790
  • Disk: 50 GB of free space
  • System: Windows 10 - 64bit

Recommended requirements:

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-7600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 590
  • Disk: 50 GB of free space
  • System: Windows 10 - 64bit
