These are the games coming in the 9th month

Remember how the 9th month once marked a crazy period of hit games spanning the next 3 months? September, October, and November are usually the months when the biggest hits come out and then only there spring. This 9th month is a bit less attractive when it comes to releasing a hit title, but it’s not that there’s nothing to play. September offers some very strong titles and a pair of hidden pearls.

The Medium

A horror game that was previously available for PC and Xbox Series consoles (even on the Game Pass), and now arrives on the PS5 as well. All you need to know is that if you love Sonic, you don’t want to miss this game. It is a remaster of one of the best Sonic games of all time. The original came out in 2010, and the remaster of course brings much better graphics, controls, sound, and additional content.

a

Lost in Random

Another potentially interesting indie title that releases neither less nor more than - EA. The game was played by the Zoink studio, which released the sympathetic indie title Fe. Lost in Random is a third-person action-adventure, but the game has a unique gambling system that depends on the dice, and everything seems to take place in board game arenas. It seems interesting to us.

RELEASE DATE: 10.9.
PLATFORMS: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, Switch

NBA 2K22

It is the only basketball simulation on the market, so it's not that you have a choice. For years, the biggest problem of this game has been microtransactions, so we hope that this year we will not get casinos and slot machines, but something else. We only know that the next-gen version comes with a lot more extra sweat compared to the “old” consoles.

RELEASE DATE: 10.9.
PLATFORMS: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Switch

Tales of Arise

One of the longest-running RPG series of all time. When something experiences 17 sequels, then you know it has its loyal audience. If you like this “new” semi-open approach to the game and you’re a fan of the series - we know you can’t wait for 10 already.

RELEASE DATE: 10.9.
PLATFORMS: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S

WarioWare: Get It Together!

A game that can only pass on the Switch, and that will almost certainly be a hit. Rarely can a company release a bunch of microgames that look and act as interesting as Nintendo does? If you have a Switch and a team to play with - this will be a complete hit.

RELEASE DATE: 10.9.
PLATFORMS: Nintendo Switch

Deathloop

We wrote a bunch of texts about Deathlop. In short - we play the role of a killer who is stuck in a time loop. Our goal is to kill the 8 villains who run the game world. The thing is when we die (we will die often) we go back to the beginning again.

RELEASE DATE: 14.9.
PLATFORMS: PS5 and PC

Kena: Bridge of Spirits

The cute platformer that has delighted us since it was first shown more than a year ago is finally coming out on 21.9. The game looks wonderful and adorable and hopefully, it won’t disappoint us. Don’t expect the game to be too long, but because of that, the price will be lower as well.

RELEASE DATE: 21.9.
PLATFORMS: PS5, PS4, PC

World War Z: Aftermath

Not a real sequel, but a new edition of the game that brings a bunch of innovations like a bunch of new missions, weapons, maps, a new melee system, and a big next-gen upgrade. One of the best film adaptations in the game world.

RELEASE DATE: 21.9.
PLATFORMS: PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, XSX, XSS

Diablo II: Resurrected

Does Diablo need a special presentation? A remaster that looks more like a remake of one of the best RPG games of all time. The original came out back in 2000 and became a legend, and now it’s time for us all to play the game again in a modern guise.

RELEASE DATE: 23.9.
PLATFORMS: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Switch

Death Stranding Director’s Cut

Director’s Cut, one of the most controversial games of the last few years, arrives exclusively on PS5 and brings better visuals, DualSense giants, faster downloads, and, more importantly - new things that we think are changing the way we play. Not to mention - they make it easier. If you have never played DS - now is the right time to do so.

RELEASE DATE: 24.9.
PLATFORMS: PS5

Lost Judgment

The sequel to a very good, if not great Judgment that (started as) a kind of spin-off series of Yakuza. Lost Judgment continues to follow the story of Detective Takayuki Yagami who begins working on new cases that are all just not - every day. We do not doubt that SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio will deliver a great game again.

RELEASE DATE: 24.9.
PLATFORMS: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One

New World

Amazon's MMORPG, which is extremely popular on Twitch and among "big" players who have been allowed to play this game before. You have a bunch of gameplay and information on the internet, so if you like the MMORPG genre - you could enjoy New World. Most agree that the game is a great introduction to the MMORPG genre and a much more complex game in the genre.

RELEASE DATE: 28.9.
PLATFORM: PC

Insurgency: Sandstorm

After almost 3 years since the game came to PC, this tactical FPS is finally arriving on consoles. The game has been postponed several times and has now finally been given an official release date. We recommend taking a look at the game if you like MP and tactical shooters with very good gunplay.

RELEASE DATE: 29.9. (PS4 and Xbox One); from 2018 on PC
PLATFORMS: PS4, PC, Xbox One

Astria Ascending

The last game we will mention this month is very likely the least known. The reason we want you to take a look at it is that it’s a beautiful, hand-drawn RPG that was done by a bunch of people working on old Final Fantasy games. If you’re a JRPG fan, be sure to take a look at the video below.

RELEASE DATE: 30.9.
PLATFORMS: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Switch
