Another group of former CD Project employees has founded their studio called Rebel Wolves. It is run by The Witcher 3 director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, who left CD Project after allegations of mobbing. In addition to Konrad, the team also includes Jakub SzamaƂek (dialogue writer for Witcher 3), Tamara Zawada (animation manager for Witcher 3), and other employees with many years of experience in the video game industry.

Rebel Wolves is currently working on a high-budget RPG title. It will be a story-focused game, conceived as the first in the series. The theme will be related to dark fantasy, which is not surprising considering the previous experience of the team. The game is being developed with the help of Unreal Engine 5, and we will see it only in the distant future because they are still looking for workers who will participate in the development of the game. We have only one conceptual drawing of that game:

Their game otherwise won’t be the only dark fantasy RPG from former Witcher developers. The producer of The Witcher 3 is also preparing a separate game that has already been announced - this project is called Gord, and we should play it this year.
