Embracer Group has announced that the Metro Exodus game has sold six million copies so far. This is the best result in the sale of the entire series, and the publisher said that the sale of the game exceeded their expectations. Metro Exodus is now a three-year-old game, but in 2021 it got its next-gen version with improved graphics, which probably attracted more players.
Apart from Metro Exodus, other hits for the Embracer Group in the fall of 2021 were Hot Wheels Unleashed with a million copies sold, and Saints Row The Third: Remastered (it is not said how well the game sold).
The 4A Games development team is currently preparing two new projects related to the Metro series. One is a brand new game for PC and ninth-generation consoles. The second project is a multiplayer game in the world of Metro, which they are developing in collaboration with the team of Saber Interactive (World War Z developers).
