Intel H410 and B460 motherboards

Intel has confirmed that the budget H410 and B460 motherboards will not support 11th generation Intel Core processors. The remaining motherboards from the Intel 400-series will support these processors through a BIOS update.

The information comes from Intel itself, on the support page, to help users who may not be able to run systems with Z490 or H470 boards, which are paired with upcoming 11th generation Core processors. On that page, the company points out that the H410 and B460 motherboards are not compatible with additional processors.

When it comes to Intel Z490 and H470 models, these motherboards will require a BIOS upgrade to support 11th generation Core processors.

The release of the 11th generation Intel Core processor is expected next month, right after the Intel Z590 motherboards.
