Anti-war adventure announced - Torn Away
Russian studio perelesoq has announced its new adventure Torn Away in collaboration with publisher Nordcurrent. Torn Away puts us in the role of Asya, a ten-year-old girl who ends up in a camp during World War II. You have to return home however you can, without violence, just with the mind and maybe a little luck.
The game looks like a mix of cinematic platformers like LIMBO or Little Nightmares and standard point and click adventures, with a greater emphasis on story and atmosphere. The story is made according to real children’s diaries from wartime, and the visual style is inspired by social realism. Vasily Kashnikov, known for his work on Pathologic 2, is preparing the background music.
The game comes out later this year on Steam and GOG stores.
